Establishing our pollinator friendly habitats in Cyprus
Our vision and purpose here at our nature workshop is to help bring wildlife back after the devastating fires we had in 2021 in nearby villages, and to empower people to take meaningful action for nature.
The goal is for all of us to live in a thriving natural world alongside our wildlife, thus creating natural habitats for them. Our aim is to inspire people to get involved in nature’s recovery.
We have already constructed very large Bee habitats in Melini, Lageia, Ora and Kato Drys. We are trying to re-establish the pollination of plants, which the solitary bees and other flying insects need to survive.
