In a world of mass production and quick gift-shop trinkets, Layia Village Crafts is built on patience and deep respect for the land. We do not operate an industrial line or high-volume shop. Every item created in our workshop—from hand-carved reclaimed olive timber to original botanical and wildlife paintings—is a singular labour of love that can take weeks or months to complete.

Rooted in the Troodos Foothills

Working directly with fallen wood gathered from local groves and natural gourds grown in our area, our creations honours the ancient rural heritage of Cyprus. Through artisan woodwork, fine art, and ecological efforts like our handcrafted bee hotels, we are proud to foster a sustainable cultural vision in harmony with the Larnaca 2030 European Capital of Culture initiative.
