All of our Custom handcrafted products are made from the olive wood from Layia Village CYPRUS. There are no two items that are identical, and that passion and dedication are crafted into each personlised item.

We collect olive wood during the olive-picking season, pruning the trees to encourage fruiting for the following year. The older olive wood we use is sourced from cut-down pieces, some of which are quite large. We are fortunate to obtain wide pieces of wood only in some cases.
We carefully season our wood over the years, allowing it to naturally dry for at least one to two years. Each piece is selected for its grain and size to meet a high standard of quality. The crafting process involves working on each item individually, allowing it to further dry.
This meticulous process ensures that the finished items maintain their high quality for long-term use, offering enjoyment for many years to come. To preserve the finish, we use only two types of mineral oils and our homemade beeswax enhancer to enhance the grain. In addition, we apply a wood preserver, especially for pieces that may be around and over 400 years old.
